With the ongoing tension between the two countries, Magsino encouraged the Filipino community in Israel to maintain communication with the embassy and the Migrant Workers’ Office and take “precautionary measures” and obey the orders of the Israeli Home Front Command.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) have established a 24/7 Task Force Desk to assist OFWs and their families.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez has called on the International community to support the Philippines’ steps to assure the rights and welfare of the OFWs.
