Fans of ENHYPEN slammed a staff of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 for allegedly neglecting the no-contact security check policy towards the K-pop boy group on Sunday night.
The group, who successfully concluded their 3-day soldout 'Manifesto' concert in the country, boarded their flight back to South Korea on the same night.
On Monday, a now-deleted TikTok video from user heyitsdemianne went viral on social media.
In the said clip, a female staff can be seen frisking the members, particularly Heeseung and Ni-ki, and gesturing for them to pull down their face masks.
this really shows why NAIA is labeled as the worst airport in the world. they are just too low. from being unprofessional to harassing someone.

no metal detector, no gloves when checking, the checking machine's alarm didn't turn off, so there's no reason to check them. other staff asking to remove their mask while filming, and checking on them unprofessionally.

This is not how a trained staff should act. #MIAAdoBetter https://t.co/cyIrQlQxay
1. The staff didn't do that to Jay and the manager

2. Sunoo and Jungwon took off their jackets but staff kept touching their bodies
3. There are walkthrough metal detectors and Xray security scanners, isn't that enough?

In a statement, the Office for Transportation Security said the management is currently investigating the incident to determine the extent of the violation committed by the NAIA staff.
"The management is currently investigating the matter to determine the extent of violation committed based on existing rules and security screening protocols if any, and impose appropriate administrative sanctions, should it be necessary," the OTS said.
