The number of individuals who died due to Typhoon Odette has climbed to 389, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Monday.

In its latest data, the NDRRMC also reported that 64 people were still missing while 1,146 others were injured.

The NDRRMC said that 52 dead, 15 missing, and 73 injured have so far been injured.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,074, 169 families or 4,204,601 people were affected by the typhoon in MIMAROPA, CARAGA, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and Regions, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

It added that 506,404 houses were damaged — 339,327 partially and 167,077 totally damaged — due to Odette.

The estimated cost of damaged houses was 28,163,718, the NDRRMC stated.
