OCTA Research revealed on Sunday, Oct. 29, the dip in trust and performance ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte in the third quarter of 2023.

Despite having the highest performance rating as the top government official for the third quarter, OCTA showed that Duterte suffered a double-digit hit to her performance rating from 82 percent in July to 70 percent in October.

In a “Tugon Ng Masa” survey, the vice president fell behind vital geographic areas, suffering a 12 percent drop in Balance Luzon, 16 percent in the Visayas region, and 9 percent in Mindanao.

Her ratings from socio-economic classes also suffered with a 19 percent dip in Classes ABC, 10 percent in Class D, and 22 percent in Class E.

While 65 percent of Filipinos believe in the president’s performance ratings, he also suffered a 6-percent drop from 71 percent in July.

Meanwhile, the trust ratings of Marcos and Duterte also dropped from 75 to 73 and 83 to 75 percent, respectively.
