

The National Telecommunication Office (NTC) has logged 103.1 million mobile users who officially registered their Subscriber Identification Number (SIM) nationwide.
Based on its latest data, the 103.1 million translates to 61.36 percent of the total number of Filipino subscribers.
There are 7 million DITO Telecommunity SIM Cards registered users or estimated 48.64 percent of its all subscriber base.
Meanwhile, Globe reached 47,025,414 registered SIM Cards or 54.21 percent of the company's total subscriber base.
There are 48,798,163 registered users or 73.60 percent of the total number of SMART subscriber base.
The SIM Card Registration is set on July 25, after two months extension as approved by President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.
The original deadline was supposed to be last April 26.
Failure to register will lead to deactivation of SIM cards.
Earlier, Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy stated that the 90-day extension period is final and cannot be extended anymore.
