The country will not experience any typhoons this week, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday.
According to PAGASA weather specialist Obet Badrin, no weather disturbance is expected in the next seven days, although Mindanao will experience cloudy clusters this week.
He said no typhoon is seen entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Western part of Luzon will still feel the effect of the Southwest monsoon, enhanced by Typhoon Falcon which is now in southern Japan, Badrina noted.
Badrina said that the chances of the cloud clusters near Mindanao turning into a typhoon are low.
"A majority of areas in Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao will experience generally humid weather," the weather specialist said, noting that rainshowers and thunderstorms will occur in the afternoon and night.
