No ‘PH vs PH’ in MSC 2024 Grand Finals.
Filipino Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) fans will not witness the anticipated showdown between the Philippine bets, Team Liquid ECHO and Falcons AP Bren, in the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup 2024.
In the knockout stage draw held last night, the two representatives from the Philippines were placed in the same bracket.
Team Liquid ECHO will face Falcon Esports, while Falcons AP Bren will go up against See You Soon, who defeated the defending MSC champions, Onic Indonesia, in a best-of-five match.
The winners of these separate matches will then face off in the best-of-five semi-finals, making it the only possible point for a ‘PH vs PH‘ encounter.
The knockout stage will commence from July 10 to 14, 2024, with the grand finals taking place on July 14 at Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.
‘PH era?’
It is worth noting that Falcons AP Bren and Team Liquid Echo remained undefeated at the end of the group stage of the MLBB Mid-Season Cup 2024, securing their spots in the playoffs.
The M5 World Champions, Falcons AP.bren, swept their two matches last night, ending North American squad Cloud 9 Esports' MSC campaign.
In their second match, Falcons AP Bren also defeated Malaysia's Falcons Esports to top Group D.
Similarly, the other Philippine bet, Team Liquid Echo, dominated their group by sweeping the Russian squad Team Spirit and Malaysia's Homebois.
