

No Filipino perished or suffered injuries during the shooting incident at a university in Prague, Czech Republic
In a statement on Friday, December 22, the Philippine Embassy in Czech Republic guaranteed the saftey of the six known Filipinos in Charles University.
As per reports, at least 15 people, including the gunman perished during the shooting incident.
"The victims' nationalities have not been publicly shared, and Prague police contact have stated that they will inform the embassy should any relevant development involving Filipinos occur," the embassy said.
"In the meantime, the embassy advises all Filipinos to avoid the immediate area of the shooting incident, and to remain on alert. The embassy will issue further updates on this incident as necessary," it added.
The government of Czech Republic has declared a day of mourning throughout the country following the mass shooting incident.
