Have you also experienced the 'messenger glitch'?
Several users of Facebook Messenger reported problems in using the 'unsend' feature of the messaging app.
On Friday night, Feb 3, even though the option was visible, its function was not working causing speculations that the feature was permanently removed.
People can't help but panic as they were used to removing messages since 2018.

My stupid ass accidentally forwarded a link to our office’s official group chat and now, Messenger has decided to disable the unsend to everyone feature. Ugh

Ergo I’m left with no choice but watch myself die in shame. 😌

Of course, aside from stressed-out users, funny moments are inevitable in times like this.
Facebook user Avelino Aliganza went viral after a hilarious reply to his student who will be late in class due to a sprain.
However, after hours of worries, the unsend feature in Facebook Messenger is back.
As of this writing, Meta, the technology company behind Facebook, has no statement released after the glitch.
