The New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) assured the public that no immediate changes to terminal assignments will occur, amid the recent turnover of operations at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
In a news release on Friday, September 20, the NAIA affirmed that the status quo remains in place, as operations will continue smoothly under the new management.
For travellers, any future terminal reassignments or changes will be introduced gradually and strategically, the NNIC General Manager Angelito Alvarez reassured.
To ensure a seamless experience for passengers, adjustments will be aligned with the ongoing infrastructural and technical upgrades at the airport. However, NAIA clarified that terminal assignments will not be implemented all at once, but would rather be phased over time to minimize disruptions.
“NNIC is committed to keeping the public informed, and any changes to terminal assignments will be communicated in advance to ensure a smooth and efficient transition as part of broader modernization efforts,” NAIA wrote in the news release.
On September 14, the NAIA was turned over to its new private operator, NNIC.
