After its two-year hiatus, the highly-anticipated Eastwood City Walk of Fame finally returned this year and inducted a total of nine stars and personalities from different industries.
On its 17th edition, these personalities from film, television, music, theater, news, and public affairs. sports, radio, and social media have unveiled their five-point brass star from the German Moreno Foundation at the prestigious event.
Part of the personalities who made to stamp their names at the Eastwood City Walk of Fame is DZRH's very own Dos Por Dos host and Kumbachero Gerry Baja, multi-awarded TV actress Maja Salvador, 2020 Tokyo Olympics weightlifting gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee.
Apart from these personalities who unveiled their Walk of Fame stars were showbiz reporter Mario Dumaual for news and public affairs, internet sensations siblings Ranz Kyle and Niana Guerrero for social media, and Janet Basco for music.
Meanwhile, because of his posthumous award for his great contribution to the country's scene, the late National Artist for Theater Tony Mabesa also made it to the Eastwood City Walk of Fame as unveiled by his niece Elizabeth Mabesa Oca.
The Eastwood City Walk of Fame is patterned after the Hollywood Walk of Fame founded in 2005, which is located in Eastwood City, Quezon City.
As of January 2023, a total of 370 names have been recognized into the Walk of Fame, including actors, hosts, writers, directors, directors and producers of movies, television and theater; singers, songwriters and musicians; news anchors and reporters; radio personalities; athletes; social media personalities and notable achievers.
