Ash will, at last, catch 'em all!
The new Pokémon series will no longer feature Ash Ketchum’s journey with Pikachu after over 25 years of being the anime’s main character.
In a post, the franchise bids farewell to Ash in an upcoming last 11 special episodes of ‘Pokémon Journeys’ to air in January next year.
“Ash and Pikachu have had many encounters, many battles, and many exciting and memorable times. Every adventurer is another step on the long path to becoming a Pokémon Master, a dream that never ends,” the narrator said in the trailer.

The main character's story will end after finally winning the title of World Champion and top Pokémon trainer while reuniting with Brock, Misty, Gary, Team Rocket, and some of the popular Pokémons.
The anime then introduced a new storyline with two new protagonists — a young girl named Liko and a boy named Roy, who will be accompanied by Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, the three Paldea starter Pokémon.
