Netflix has released the official trailer of the highly anticipated season two of the Japanese science fiction television series "Alice in Borderland."

In the trailer of the mega-survival series, more intense life-or-death games await the central players, especially Arisu, Usagi, Chishiya, and Kuina who all survived in the first season.

The four of them will unravel the mysteries of the borderland in order to return to the real world.

Three games are left: Jack, Queen, and King cards.

On their journey, the survivors will meet new allies and enemies.

New characters were also unveiled namely Tomohisa Yamashita as Kyuma the “King of Clubs,” Yuri Tsunematsu as Heiya, Hayato Isomura as Banda, Katsuya Maiguma as Yaba, Kai Inowaki as Matsushita, and Honami Sato as Kotoko.

The new season will premiere this coming December 22.

“Alice in Borderland” is based on the popular manga of Japanese artist Haro Aso and the series is directed by Shinsuke Sato.

The first season debuted in 2020 and it became a blockbuster series on Netflix.
