Screams and cheers filled the SM Mall of Asia Arena as Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo — best known for their subunit NCT DoJaeJung — emerged from the stage to steal the hearts of their Filipino fans on their first fan concert in Manila over the weekend.

The unit from the K-pop boy band NCT successfully wrapped up their "Scented Symphony: PERFUME Fancon in Manila" last June 24, a first for the trio since they made their debut earlier this year.

"It's always good to come back in Manila especially now that we are coming back with a new music, new look, and new style," Jaehyun, 26, said during the segment interview of their show.

Decked out in their white princely suits, DoJaeJung opened their almost two-hour fancon with "Kiss," a side track from their first mini album titled "Perfume" that they released in April this year.

Surely NCTzens were curious about how the trio was formed, Doyoung spilled that their first performance as a trio during their encore concert for NCT 127's The Link+ opened the discussions of forming the subunit. He added that the fans also loved their combination.

Jungwoo likewise expressed his excitement about the kind of music they will make even before they debut.

As members of NCT, a widely known K-pop boy band with various subunits under its wing, fans cannot help but ask if there's another member they would want to debut to NCT DoJaeJung.

"I would say Mark because DoJaeJung would need a rapper," said Doyoung, earning laughter from the fans inside the venue.

According to the trio, their first mini album "Perfume" contains tracks that serve as lingering music, where they show their new sides and charms. The title track of the same name is an R&B and electro song about giving a message to lovers.

"During the preparations, we got to create our own scent. And since this is the first time that we created our own scent, our very first perfume, I think this is a special memory," Jungwoo shared.

As for their goal as a unit, Jaehyun referred to their first fancon in Manila as a "dream come true" and the "best show we ever had."

"A dream is very important. I wouldn't want to change the fact that I wanna be with NCTzens for a concert around the world," Jungwoo said.

Doyoung, meanwhile, wished their fans to be healthy always, reminding them to always take care of their body.

After their Q&A segments, the trio went back to performing more songs from their 6-track mini-album like "Perfume," "Dive," "Can We Go Back," "Strawberry Sunday," and "Ordinary," showcasing their vocal prowess as well as their distinct dance moves.

Jungwoo shared, "The fact that I get to spend time today with you gave me so much happiness. It's our first time coming here to the Philippines as DoJaeJung, and I'd like to say thank you to everyone who welcomed us. We hope you keep on cheering for us on our remaining activities.
