Taeil of the K-pop boy band NCT will be skipping upcoming schedules and promotions of their upcoming group album to focus more on his recovery after he was injured in a motorcycle incident earlier today.
On Tuesday, his label SM Entertainment shared that the 29-year-old singer had gotten into a motorcycle incident and sustained a fracture in his right thigh.
"As a result of the examination, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his right thigh and he received medical advice that surgery was necessary. Currently, Taeil is in stable condition and receiving the necessary treatment at the hospital ahead of the surgery," the statement read.
Following this, Taeil will be sitting out of the NCT group concert ‘NCT NATION: To The World’ on August 26 as well as their concert schedules in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan.
"We sincerely apologize for giving you cause for concern with this sudden news. The agency will put the artist’s health as a priority and help Taeil focus on his recovery. We will do our best so that he can greet fans again in good health," the agency noted.
