The National Capital Region (NCR) as well as 47 other areas will remain under alert Level 1 starting March 16, 2022 until the end of the month, Malacañang announced Tuesday.

In a statement, acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar said those areas not on the list will be placed under Alert Level 2 from March 16 to 21.
Under Alert Level 1, establishments, activities, and public transport are allowed to operate at full capacity in accordance with the minimum public health standards.
So far, there are now more than 64 million Filipinos fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number, over 10 million already received their booster shots.
The government is eyeing to vaccinate 77 million people by the end of March.
