The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) raided two malls and two warehouses selling fake brand products in the National Capital Region (NCR).

According to the report of Val Gonzales in MBC Network News, the NBI, carrying 18 different search warrants, raided a variety of stores in Manila, Mandaluyong, and Tondo that are selling fake branded products.

NBI raided two stores in 168 Shopping Mall and four stores in 999 Shopping Mall, where they uncovered fake branded shirts such as Vans, Dickies, and Underarmor.

According to the NBI, the fake products amount to P10,826,639 million.

Meanwhile, fake brands of clothes and shoes were also found in two warehouses in Tondo, Manila, amounting to P14,672,700 million.

The NBI warned the public to be cautious when buying products as Christmas approaches.
