The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) captured three of the four individuals who are reportedly involved in a kidney-selling scheme on Tuesday, July 16.
According to RH Val Gonzales' report, the suspects were arrested in San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan, by a raid spearheaded by NBI National Capital Region (NCR) Director Rommel Ballejo.
Gonzales' report said that one of the nine victims or donors reported to authorities after not being paid compensation even after he underwent the operation of removing his kidney.

The informant was among the nine victims who were rescued. Four of them have already undergone surgery.
According to the NBI, the suspect who was not yet arrested is a nurse.
NBI said they received reports that there are doctors who are allegedly involved in the illegal organ trade.
