Several devotees of the Jesus Nazarene in Manila broke through police barricades that prohibited them from entering certain streets to meet the andas of the Poong Hesus Nazareno during this year’s Traslacion.
In a video captured by DZRH News, several devotees were seen forcefully entering Casal St. and Palanca St. while the andas was at Ayala Bridge, around 6:54 PM.
Meanwhile, according to a report by RH Edwin Duque, devotees from Palanca St. also managed to break through the police force blocking Globo de Oro St.

Previously, Quiapo Church issued official reminders and guidelines for devotees participating in the Traslacion to promote safety, maintain order, and uphold the solemnity of the celebration.
The Jesus Nazareno is believed to symbolize faith, resilience, and the potential for miracles, as devotees trust that it can intercede for them, providing guidance and support during challenging times.
