Brian Black or popularly known as NAIA was crowned as the first-ever "Drag Supreme" of the Philippine drag pageantry reality competition TV series "Drag Den."
The hit show held its grand coronation night and finale concert on Thursday, January 26, at the Samsung hall in SM Aura Premier.
NAIA won against two other finalists Maria Cristina and Shewarma.
Host and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Manila Luzon crowned NAIA.
In her speech, she expressed gratitude to her loved ones, supporters, and those who have helped her in her drag journey.
"The one message I want to impart to everyone, especially to the young queer artists like me is never give up on yourself," NAIA said.
"We have much to do with this country — in this country that silences dissent. As drag queens, as queer icons, we can use our voice and lift our spirits up," NAIA added.
The first episode of "Drag Den", a Project 8 project production, premiered on Amazon Prime Video last December 8, 2022.
