A electrical maintenance activities will be conducted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 1 and 2 from February 5 to March 7, its management Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Monday, February 5.

The maintenance follows the ongoing upgrade of the airport’s electrical systems.

According to MIAA’s adivsory posted on NAIA's Facebook page, there would be minimal disruptions in some areas but it assured the riding public that necessary systems for passenger processing would remain operational throughout.

It said it "sees no significant impact of the scheduled works to flight operations."

MIAA added that it has taken a “proactive approach” through conversations with stakeholders to let them know the scheduled maintenance.

“A prior meeting with MIAA's service provider and Meralco led to a unified strategy to ensure uninterrupted flight and passenger movement during the subject period,” it added.
