Actress and environmental advocate Nadine Lustre has returned to Masungi Geopark Project in Tanay, Rizal to participate in tree-nurturing activities this time.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Masungi Georeserve shared photos of Nadine, an honorary park ranger, who was undertaking nurturing activities such as weeding out grasses and mulching.
"Nadine wanted to see how Masungi was doing amid our challenges and came to show support," the wildlife sanctuary captioned.

It said that the 29-year-old actress even shared with them her transition journey to a vegan lifestyle, which she is embarking on "for the welfare of animals and the planet."
"Nadine is one of our women allies in fighting for Masungi's future," Masungi Georeserve said.
The actress was also captured holding a banner that says "#SaveMasungi"
Nadine first visited and showed support for Masungi Georeserve in June 2021.
She and her friends trekked in the geological formations of Masungi rocks, campaigning for reforestation.
To support Masungi Georeserve in its aim to eliminate threats to biodiversity conservation work, the wildlife sanctuary encourages the public to sign in the petition against destructive activities.
The recent threats to Masungi were last February when the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) claimed that it will build a new headquarters at the land of the wildlife sanctuary.
But following contention from the public and various environmental organizations, BuCor said its proposed plan "will no longer push through."
