C'mon, guys. It's 2022 but some people still believe in spliced videos.
Filipina actress-singer Nadine Lustre slammed bashers who believed in her edited video and connected them to Volleyball player Deanna Wong’s snubbing issue in Boracay.
"Im so mind blown with how this interview was so blown out of proportion then again Im not surprised. Probably gonna be the last time Im gonna talk about this cuz prolonging this will be silly sf. If people still wanna to crucify me for that edit down video, edi wow," Lustre wrote on Twitter.

She clarified the issue by uploading her full video interview with Edward Barber on Myx Youtube Channel last July 2021.
“I hope y'all watch this video so you see the whole picture. This interview was last year and is NOT a response or comment to Deanna Wong,” she said.

The people behind the circulating video edited clips of her saying, "I was never the type to say hi to everyone, or smile, or wave, because I don’t know you. I never had the feeling of responsibility when it comes to saying hi to everyone. It was never my thing, because to me it was weird.”
“Just one time I was walking around the mall, like passing lang. In one of the shops, there is this one person, a lady, and she said, ‘Suplada naman.’ And I’m like… I looked at her and I’m like, ‘Am I supposed to say hi to you? Like… I don’t know you,” she added.
The spliced video made it look like she tolerated and agreed with the volleyball player's behavior.
In the full video, Nadine shared that the woman never said “hi” to her and that she was expected to approach people first.
She also made a tweet referring to news and content creators who were always quick to cling to her issues.
Shoutout din to everyone who’s quick to judge + make content about a subject without knowing the full context first.
