Actress and Singer Nadine Lustre has departed from music label Careless Philippines which is owned by his ex-boyfriend and former loveteam, James Reid, she confirmed on Friday, Dec. 9.
In an exclusive interview with Monster Radio RX 93.1, Nadine finally ended rumors and disclosed that she already left because the label’s vision is not “in line” with her anymore.
“I kind of want to do my own thing. They are doing their own thing… Parang iba na din kasi ‘yung gusto kong gawin,” Nadine said.
“It’s so different na, the things I want to do and the things they want to do are very different things,” she added.
The 29-year-old actress and singer also shared that she had a phase wherein she wanted to “lie low” a bit in making music and just pursue a business and acting career.
But Nadine admitted that when she listens to her previous album and song releases, she feels regretful about her decision.
“It makes me feel like sayang. Nanghihinayang and then I want to make music ganon. I had those thoughts. I want to make music next year,” she said.
Nadine’s last album “Wildest Dream” with Careless PH was released in 2020.
In 2019, she signed a contract under Careless PH and debuted with the single “St4y Up.”
Years later, various artists joined the label including Massiah, Jolianne, Lesha, Issa Pressman, Liza Soberano, and dance crew A-Team.
