'Deleter' star Nadine Lustre was hailed as 'Best Actress' and 'Star of the Night' during the 2022 Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) Gabi Ng Parangal last December 27.

In her acceptance speech, the Multimedia princess said that they did not expect Deleter to be one of this year's entries.

“Sobrang unreal po sa pakiramdam na nandito 'yung team Deleter ngayon kasi hindi po talaga namin in-expect na mamakasama 'yung Deleter sa MMFF," she said.

Lustre dedicated her award to family, friends, her VIVA family, Deleter's production, and to her boyfriend Christopher Bariou.

"Sobrang saya po naming lahat, hindi po namin in-expect 'to. Masayang masaya po kaming lahat na nagbabalik na ang pelikulang pilipino sa sinehan. Mabuhay ang MMFF at mabuhay ang pelikulang pilipino," she added.

The Best Actress award was announced by Mayor Jeannie Sandoval of Malabon City and was awarded by veteran actress Boots Anson Roa-Rodrigo, who also served as the Selection Committee Chairperson.

This is Lustre's fourth time receiving such an award following her Best Actress feat for her performances in the films Ulan' at FAMAS Awards 2020, 'Never Not Love You' at Gawad Urian Awards 2019, and 'Ulan' at Asian Academy Awards 2019.

She was also named the 'Star of the NIght' along with 'Nanahimik Ang Gabi' star Ian Veneracion, who also bagged Best Actor.

Nadine wore a stunning brown tone long gown corset flaunting her curve designed by Mara Chua. She matched her gown with a gold necklace styled by Lyn Alumno and Raf Villas.

Her makeup artist Jelly Eugenio added 'deleter' small gold letters placed near her nose bridge. Hair stylist Paul Nebres completed the look with an updo and bangs.
