The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) on Thursday, Nov. 9, said it will probe reports of yellowish color of water supplied by the Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad).&nbsp;
This came after a barrage of customer aired their concerns on social media platforms regarding &ldquo;poor aesthetic quality&rdquo; of water from the water concessionaire.&nbsp;
&ldquo;The [MWSS] is currently investigating the issue and coordinating with Maynilad to identify the root cause of the irregularity and implement any necessary corrective actions,&rdquo; the agency said in a statement.&nbsp;

MWSS urged the public experiencing this problem to let the water flow until it turns clear. They are also advised to collect and store the yellowing water for non-potable uses.&nbsp;
&ldquo;[The MWSS] assures affected customers that their health and safety are prioritized as the Office investigates the matter. It will remain committed to protecting consumer interest and welfare,&rdquo; it added.
