Former Maimbung, Sulu Vice Mayor Pando Mudjasan decried the allegations against him as "fake".
During an exclusive interview during DZRH's Damdaming Bayan on Tuesday, July 4, Mudjasan insisted that the charges against him stemmed from his feud with Sulu Gov. Abdusakur Tan.
"Fake iyan. Wala akong kasalanan," Mudjasan said.
He claim that Tan has a personal interest with the land belonging to his wife, who refused to sell the property to the official.
The former vice-mayor went on the run aftera firefight broke out between his group and government troops who went to serve an arrest warrant against him on June 24 in Maimbung.
Mudjasan faces charges for murder, frustrated, and for alleged violation of Republic Act 10591, also known as the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regular Act.
