The Metro Rail Transit Line 3’s (MRT-3) heart-filled setup ahead of Valentine’s day spurred a man to propose at the photo booth at Ayala station.

According to MRT-3’s Facebook post, Mac Tolentino only wanted to take pictures at the photo booth with his girlfriend Yen Flores.

Tolentino said he was supposed to propose later in the day when the setup made him think it was the right time to propose.

A series of cheers greeted the couple when Flores accepted the ring and hugged Tolentino.

The Department of Transportation decorated “Love Train” wagons of the MRT, surrounding the train with stickers of roses, romantic quotations, and heart-filled pillows.
