Passengers now have more opportunities to ride the MRT-3 train at night following an order from Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon to extend its operations by one hour.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) made the announcement after Dizon inspected several train stations on Monday.
In addition to the one-hour extension, the transport chief also directed MRT-3 to deploy additional trains during peak hours.
Dizon even rode the MRT-3 during the Monday rush hour to observe the train's conditions and to engage with passengers about their travel experiences, asking for suggestions on how to improve the train service.
