The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) is offering a free ride for all government employees from September 18 to September 20.
In an advisory on Friday, Department of Transportation (DOTr) MRT-3 said they are offering free rides for government workers as part of the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.
Free rides will start on September 18 and last until September 20 for the entire operating hours.
The DOTr encourages eligible passengers to bring their valid government identification cards (IDs).
"Kami po sa MRT-3 ay taos-pusong nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng Philippine Civil Service. Ang handog naming LIBRENG SAKAY ay simpleng pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga sakripisyo ng bawat kawani ng gobyerno upang magampanan nang tapat at maayos ang kanilang mga tungkulin," said DOTr Assistant Secretary for Railways and MRT-3 Officer-in-Charge Jorjette B. Aquino.
