The biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament in the country, MPL Philippines, has announced that its Season 11 Playoffs will be held at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay.
This marks the tournament's biggest venue yet, with more than 2,000 daily offline spectators expected to watch the intense competitions from May 4-7, 2023.
Six teams, namely Bren Esports, ECHO, RSG Slate Philippines, Blacklist International, ONIC Philippines, and Smart Omega, have successfully secured their playoff spots and will be vying for the most coveted title and the lion's share of the prize pool worth USD 150,000.
The champion and first runner-up of this season will have the honor to represent the Philippines in the international mid-season tournament MSC 2023, which will take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for the very first time.
Harry Leonardo, MOONTON Games Marketing Lead for Esports, expressed excitement for the upcoming playoffs season, stating, "We are inching closer to the end of the season but there are more activities to be anticipated by our beloved MPL Philippines community."

MPL Philippines also emphasizes the importance of health and safety, as they will require individuals to present proof of vaccination at the registration booth. Unvaccinated persons, pregnant women, children below 7 years old, and senior citizens will be prohibited from entering the premises, and face masks are also required to be worn at all times to ensure the well-being of all attendees.
Leveled up activities
The league has announced the launch of the MPL Store where fans can purchase exclusive merchandise from their favorite teams.
The store will offer a range of items such as shirts, pants, pins, stickers, and jackets, among others.
What's more, fans who make purchases using their MAYA account will receive an in-game code that can be redeemed for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) skins.
In addition to the merchandise, MPL Philippines is also hosting a #LakasNgPinas Photo Challenge for fans.
