Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League has officially announced that the Playoffs would be held entirely online from April 21 to 23, 2023.
For this season, six (6) teams have qualified to battle for the most desired championship and the lion's share of USD 20,000.
The regular season concluded with Blacklist Academy, Bren Euphoria, Echo Proud, GameLab, Smart Omega Neos, and RSG Ignite as the top six teams.
The playoffs will begin on April 21 and 22 with a single elimination best-of-three (BO3) match series between Blacklist Academy and RSG Ignite. The Grand Finals will be played in a best-of-five (BO5) format on April 23, 2023.
Meanwhile, in keeping with the theme "Ilabas ang Lakas," the league will reward this season's players and stars who have released their might in gaming and casting — including Regular Season MVP, Grand Finals MVP, Team of the Season, and Best Talent.
The Regular Season MVP will be given to a player from one of the top two teams in the Regular Season standings. The team should have won the weekly MVP honor or the player should have excellent performance throughout the season. The player should also have no serious violations to qualify. The winner will be announced on 14 April. The winner will be revealed on April 14th.
The Grand Final MVP will be presented to a player from the victorious team who had an excellent performance during the grand final match. The voting committee will be made up of talents and broadcast vendor Mineski Events Team.
Meanwhile, the Team of the Season will be made up of players from various teams that have excelled in their assigned duties, such as jungler, roamer, mid laner, gold laner, and exp laner. On May 8, the winners will be announced.
The voting committee will be made up of talents or present host and casters (60%), coaches (30%), and the MPL Philippines Press Corps (10%) for the Regular Season MVP, Grand Final MVP, and Team of the Season, with results to be reviewed by MOONTON Games.
Fans may vote via MPL Philippines' official website at https://ph-mpl.com/mdl/votecaster from today until April 14th. The winner will be revealed on April 22, the day before the Grand Finals match.
