A special order has been issued by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., removing Moriones Police Station Commander Police Lt. Col. Rosalino Ibay Jr. from his post.

In a report by Boy Gonzales on DZRH’s Damdaming Bayan, it is said that Ibay failed to attend the command conferences called by the NCRPO, which made Nartatez decide to relieve him from his position.

According to Manila Police District (MPD) Chief PBGen. Andre Dizon learned that Ibay had given notice to take a leave of absence from work for a month; however, only three days later, he came back to the office without notice.

Dizon said that Ibay does not attend district conferences of the station commanders.

Ibay was also summoned to the command conference that was held yesterday, where all the station commanders in Metro Manila attended except for him, leading Nartatez to decide to replace him from his post.
