More personalities and personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) are included in the House Quad Committee’s report, the Committee Chairman and Surigao del Norte Representative Robert Ace Barbers said.

Following the Quad Committee’s final committee hearing on Monday, Barbers revealed in an interview with reporters that more personalities were recommended for prosecution in their final report.

RH 12 Milky Rigonan reported on Tuesday, June 10, that the Quad Comm Chairman mentioned that some individuals are PNP officials. The latter added that these personnel are involved in illegal operations, especially when it comes to the extrajudicial killings (EJKs).

According to the lawmaker, they have gathered sufficient evidence from the 15 joint public hearings. With this, Barbers mentioned that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) pick up where they left off and conduct a thorough investigation on issues concerning illegal drugs, POGOs, and EJKs.

In December 2024, the Quad Committee submitted a 43-page progress report, identifying individuals who violated the Republic Act 9851 or the Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law, Genocide, and other Crimes Against Humanity.

The document included former President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, former PNP Chief and now Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, and five others.

Although the 19th Congress would officially adjourn in a few days, Barbers assured that the Quad Committee would continue its investigation once the 20th Congress convenes.

The report indicated that it would be dubbed the Quad Comm 2.0, as there are still several issues of violence and corruption that need to be investigated.
