The Philippine National Police will use the money transfer account of trigger man Joel Estorial as a lead to determine the mastermind of the Percy Lapid case according to Rep. Marcelino 'Nonoy' Libanan, House Minority Leader and Representative of 4P’s party list.

In a report by RH Milky Rigonan, Percy Lapid’s case will not rest until the ‘brains’ behind it are arrested, said by Libanan.

The congressman urged the Philippine National Police to do the utmost to condemn the mastermind of the case.

Joel Estorial, who voluntarily surrendered as the gunman, admitted that there were six individuals including himself who formed a contract with the mastermind and were paid a total of Php 550,000.

Based on his testimony to the authorities, the instruction came from the middle man in the National Bilibid Prison who was found dead last October 18 inside his detention cell.

Libanan said that in order to determine the mastermind, the money transfer or flow of money of self-confessed killer Joey Estorial should be investigated and act as a lead.

Meanwhile, a bounty reaching to Php 6.5 million, including the Php 5 million announced by House Speaker Martin Romualdez from the contributions of members of the congress and Php 1.5 million from the Department of Interior and Local Government, will be rewarded to whoever can give information about the other killers of Percy Lapid.
