Mon Confiado is indeed a versatile actor.

With his role as a mysterious home intruder for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Nanahimik Ang Gabi," Mon Confiado's role preparation involves strict character study and immersion.

To fully portray the character as a "psycho," the actor isolated himself in Pangasinan's mountain forests for 10 days and another five more days in Baguio.

In a press conference, Confiado said isolating himself to mountain forests was part of his journey to fulfill his realistic character who plans to invade a secluded mansion.

According to him, his role in their MMFF entry was one of the best characters he had done, which made him more thrilled as soon as director Shugo Praico presented the script and the character.

Meanwhile, Confiado made sure to stay in character and in costume for the entirety of the production bubble.

He kept his offscreen interactions minimum with his co-stars as part of his method to still be in character.

When asked about portraying any roles, Confiado proudly said that he has no fear of taking any characters.

The 54-year-old actor said that he is now free of inhibitions as an actor, noting that it is more important to execute his job well and deliver what the director needs.

Confiado enjoys doing the movie and is privileged to work with great actors like Ian Veneracion, saying that people's interest in watching their entries is more important.

He hoped for the film to do well at the box office and thought that their movie has a good chance to do well.
