Singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre has been nominated for the “Best Asia Act” category at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2023.

Vying for the spot with the Filipina nominee are K-pop boy group Treasure, Indonesian singer and actress Tiara Andini, Thai actor and singer Bright Vachirawit, and Japanese boyband BE:FIRST.

The OPM singer was earlier nominated for the Best Southeast Asia Act at the 2019 MTV EMAs.

Dela Torre was best known for her songs “Malaya,” “Tagpuan,” and “Kumpas.”

Meanwhile, Star Music PH earlier announced that the Filipina singer-songwriter will join Suho from EXO and band wave to earth in the "ON MUSIC FESTIVAL" on November 3, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
