Mocha Uson, known to be a die-hard supporter of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, announced on Friday that she will be supporting the presidential bid of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso in May 2022 national elections.
Uson made the announcement during Moreno's campaign rally in Kawit, Cavite.
"Nag-switch to Isko na rin tayo [We have switched to Isko as well]," she told the audience.
"Nakita ko po kay Mayor Isko ang ating batang Pangulong Duterte na talaga namang mainit ang kanyang paninilbihan sa bayan [I see in Mayor Isko a young version of President Duterte who is passionate in serving our country]," she continued.
Uson also revealed that she voted for Moreno back when he was running for mayor of the capital city.
"Nakita ko po yung bilis kilos," she said. "Yung iba po, pinapangako pa lang nila, nagawa na po ni Mayor Isko sa Maynila."
[I saw his quick actions. While other candidates are still making promises, Mayor Isko has already accomplished those in Manila.]
