The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reports no disruptions despite the ongoing transport strike by a transport group, which is expected to last until Wednesday.
As per the MMDA Command Center's monitoring, traffic remained normal until this morning's rush hour.
MMDA Chairman Don Artes and Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon personally led the delivery of the assessment in Pasig City.
However, Artes assured that the agency is prepared to provide free rides and deploy additional buses along the EDSA Busway.
Secretary Dizon had earlier announced that additional trains for the Light Rail Transit Line-1 and Metro Rail Transit Line-3 would be in service starting today, amid an ongoing transport strike by a transport group.
Additionally, the MRT-3 has extended its operating hours by an hour, closing at 10 PM instead of its usual closing time.
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, it was observed that there were no significant numbers of stranded passengers, with jeepneys still operating in Mandaluyong and Pasig City.
