The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday, February 7, said it sent a 30-man group to Davao to provide aid for victims of floods and landslides.

The agency said personnel from the Public Safety Division, Road Emergency Group, and Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office were deployed to give 60 solar-powered water purifiers that could filter 180 gallons of water per house for the affected residents in Davao.

Meanwhile, the Maco Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office revealed that 10 bodies were recovered from the landslide.

Its data showed that 31 individuals were injured from the landslide while 49 remained missing. A total 758 families were said to be staying in evacuation center.
