The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will host the Road to Zero Waste Summit from November 5 to November 6 at the Unilab Bayanihan Center in Pasig City.

MMDA described the event as 'the first and largest event focused on sustainable waste management and the promotion of a circular economy'.

With the theme 'Closing the Loop Towards a Circular Economy', MMDA said that the summit seeks to spotlight innovative waste management solutions that can address solid waste challenges in Metro Manila, leading to long-term sustainability.
