The 5-year-old girl who went missing in Balibago village in Angeles City, Pampanga, was found in Novaliches, Quezon City, on Thursday, March 21.
In a Facebook post, Jessica Audrey Campos announced that they had already found her missing cousin, Ally.
"Good day, everyone! We are super happy to announce that we have found Ally! She was found by the kind Mrs. Janette Panaligan and her husband," Campos wrote in her post.
"She was brought by her abductor to Novaliches and was made to beg for money and food. Fortunately, a family member recognized her and brought her to the authorities," she continued.
According to GMA's report, founders Janette Panaligan Escalona and her husband, Allan Escalona, said they saw Ally with a suspicious man and familiarized themselves with the child from TV reports. They immediately went to the barangay to help them rescue the child.
Ally's family thanked the Escalona family for helping them to bring their child back.
At around 10:54 a.m. on March 17, the 5-year-old girl was seen in the CCTV footage being carried by a man in Sto. Domingo, Angeles City.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. directed the police to find the girl within 72 hours and he offered a P100,000 reward to anyone who could give a lead on the child's whereabouts.
Interviewed in GMA's 24 Oras, the suspect said he felt pity for the child, which is why he abducted her.
The family expressed their deep anger toward the suspect, as it caused them too much distress.
The suspect may face charges of kidnapping, according to Quezon City Police Station 4.
