It was a night of glitz and glamour as Miss Universe Philippines candidates showcased their creativity during the National Costume Competition held at Leyte Normal University.
Miss Eastern Samar Airissh Ramos emerged victorious as she wowed the judges with her "An Bulawanon nga Katbari ha Sinirangan" costume, designed by John Hubert Capito.

The costume paid tribute to Filipino farmers and their hard work, earning Ramos a total score of 95.2 %.
Miss Benguet Joemey and Southern Leyte Kimberly Escartin came in second and third place, respectively.
Apart from the main competition, Tingog Party recognized outstanding women with Tingog ng Pilipina Awards.
Miss Baguio Krishnah Marie Gravidez, Miss Eastern Samar Airissh Ramos, and Miss Agusan Del Norte Jannarie Zarzoso were each awarded a P100,000 cash prize for their impressive performances.
The competition continues as candidates prepare for the talent showcase scheduled on May 6, 7 p.m. at Cove Manila.
