The Miss Universe organization has unveiled the 12th crown of the prestigious pageant — the "Force for Good" crown crafted by the world-renowned luxury jeweler Mouwad.
The crown, which holds 110 carats of blue sapphires, 48 carats of white diamonds, and a 45.14-carat royal blue sapphire at its center, will serve as the mark of honor for the winner of the 71st Miss Universe Competition in January.
According to the organization, the sapphire gem centerpiece represent "goodness and hope for a brighter future."
"It has been an honor to craft a new crown for The Miss Universe Organization, and to create a new sparkling chapter in the story of Mouawad Miss Universe crowns,” said Mouawad Co-guardian Fred Mouawad.
The second Miss Universe crown from Mouward reportedly values at approximately $5.58 million.
Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will be crowing her successor on Jan. 14, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
