As Miss Universe 2023 ends, the next coronation for next year’s beauty queen will be held in Mexico.

The Miss Universe organization brought much excitement, announcing Mexico as the next country to host the said prestigious annual event with new rules applied, which include the elimination of age limits for contestants.

Next year will be Mexico’s fifth time to host the international pageant, as Miss Universe already happened in the country in 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007.

This year's 72nd Miss Universe, Sheyniss Palacios of Nicaragua took home the crown, besting out 83 candidates who were vying for the Miss Universe crown.

Meanwhile, the Philippines’ very own Michelle Marquez Dee landed in the top 10 spot, bringing the country back into the Miss Universe placing streak.

Dee also clinched three special awards such as Voice of Change, Spirit of Carnival Award, and Miss Universe's fan vote.
