The highly acclaimed theater musical "Miss Saigon" is coming to the Philippines in March next year!
In a Facebook post on Oct. 13, GMG Productions announced that "Miss Saigon", a production by producer Cameron Mackintosh, will be premiered at The Theatre at Solaire Resort in Parañaque City.
"Cameron Mackintosh's brand new production of Miss Saigon lands at the Theatre at Solaire this March 2024. Stay tuned for more announcements! #MissSaigonPH," it captioned.
The exact dates of the musical show's premiere were yet to be disclosed.
In an article published by Broadway World, it said that the pre-sale of tickets will start on Oct. 23 and end on Nov. 3, 2023. The official public sale is slated for Nov. 6, 2023.

The highly acclaimed musical was recently staged at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and it will land in Melbourne on Oct. 29.
"Miss Saigon" is a musical by esteemed French lyricist and librettist Alain Boublil and French record producer, songwriter, and musical theatre composer Claude-Michel Schönberg.
Set in the 1970s in Saigon City during the Vietnam war, the story follows a South Vietnamese orphan and bargirl named Kim who fell in love with an American GI called Chris.
But their love was torn apart following the fall of Saigon.
The film was adapted from the opera "Madame Butterfly" by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini.
"Miss Saigon" was last shown at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in Pasay in 2000, with Broadway star Lea Salonga playing the heroic character of Kim.
