A radio broadcaster from Misamis Occidental was shot dead by an unknown suspect during his live program on Sunday morning.
The radio anchor recognized as Juan Jumalon, also known as Johnny Walker, was killed at around 5:35 a.m.
In the initial report by the authorities, the suspect suddenly entered the 94.7-Calamba Gold FM booth and surprisingly shot the victim while he was in the middle of an on-air program through Facebook Live.

Meanwhile, the Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office (MOCPPO) strongly condemned the shooting incident.
The MOCPPO appealed to the general public that whoever had knowledge about the incident report should immediately provide the information needed to solve the case.
Moreover, the Philippine National Police will conduct a thorough investigation to identify the suspect.
