The Commission on Elections (Comelec) and South Korean firm Miru Systems Co. Ltd. have officially signed the ₱17.9 billion contract for the 2025 midterm elections automation system.
The contract signing ceremony was held at Comelec's building in Intramuros, Manila and this was led by Comelec chairman George Garcia, Comelec Commissioner Rey Bulay, and Miru Systems Co. Ltd. President Jinbok Chung.
The Miru Systems Co. Ltd. reportedly accepted the terms and conditions set by the Comelec in the contract.

Last February 22, Comelec spokesperson Rex Laudiangco announced that the poll body has awarded the contract for the lease of a Full Automation System with Transparency Audit/Count or FASTrAC to the lone bidder, Miru Systems Co. Inc.
Enclosed in the contract are 111,000 automated counting machines; 104,345 ballot boxes; 2,200 CCS servers/laptops and printers; and ballot printing and paper for 73,881,894 and ballot verification.
