Drag Race Philippines alumna Minty Fresh is ready to sashay onto the global stage as she is set to represent the Philippines in the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. The World.
The announcement was made through the official “Meet the Queens” video released by World of Wonders, officially placing Minty among the 10 international queens competing this season.
Minty Fresh, who finished fifth in the inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines, made herstory as the first queen in the franchise to win a maxi challenge and the first to earn two maxi challenge wins. Known for her polished fashion, flawless makeup, and viral Ariana Grande impersonations, Minty truly proved that charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent run deep.
Before entering the werkroom, Minty built her career as a celebrity makeup artist and runway model, backed by a degree in Fine Arts. Her artistic background and high-fashion aesthetic have made her one of the most visually celebrated queens of the Philippine franchise—serving eleganza every time she hits the runway.
Joining Minty are two other Filipina-born queens competing internationally: Melinda Verga, representing Canada and a 5th placer from Canada’s Drag Race Season 5, and Zahirah Zaphanta, one of the UK representatives and a former contestant from Drag Race UK Season 6. Though now based abroad, all three queens proudly carry Filipino drag excellence—global realness, mama.
Support has poured in from the Drag Race Philippines sisterhood. Internationally recognized Filipina drag queen Marina Summers, Minty’s Season 1 sister who represented the country in UK vs. The World Season 2 and finished in the Final 4, voiced her encouragement. Eva Le Queen, another Season 1 alumna and Global All Stars competitor, also showed her love, proving once again that family resemblance goes beyond the runway.

Filipina drag representation continues to shine worldwide, with Mandy Mango currently competing in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18 in the U.S. A registered nurse specializing in HIV and sexual health, Mandy blends advocacy and artistry—reminding fans that drag can be both sickening and meaningful.
RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. The World Season 3 premieres on January 27, 2026, streaming on WOW Presents Plus. With international queens ready to battle it out, viewers can expect drama, fashion, and fierce lip-syncs—for their legacy.
As Minty Fresh prepares to enter the werkroom once more, fans are already cheering her on. Because when the music starts, and the lights come up, it’s time to remember the words that define drag excellence: “Racers, start your engines… and may the best drag queen win.”
