Michelle Marquez Dee couldn’t be more delighted as thousands of fans went to the SM Mall of Asia on December 10 to give her the warmest welcome she could ever receive, weeks after the Miss Universe pageant held in El Salvador, where she finished strong as one of the Top 10 finalists.

Waving Philippine flags and carrying photos and banners, fans gave their all-out support to the queen and occupied the pavement, extending more than a meter just to see the beauty queen up close.

Many of the supporters patiently waited for the motorcade to roam around the mall’s complex, bringing flowers and waving at the actress, Beauty Queen.

Known as member of the LGBTQ community, Dee held both the Philippine flag and the pride flag, waving them and showing her acknowledgement towards the love and support she received from the Filipinos regardless of their ages, forms, and walks of life.

Despite ending her Miss Universe 2023 pageant journey, Dee still resurrected the country’s powerhouse status in the said pageant.

Apart from being placed in the Top 10, Dee also brought home the award for Best in National Costume; she became one of the gold finalists for the “Voice of Change” and received the “Spirit of Carnival" awards from the Carnival cruises.
